Forex introducing broker commission, explained

A forex introducing broker earns commission on the trading volume of the clients they refer. Most brokers pay a set dollar amount per lot. Multi level plans also pay you on clients your sub IBs bring in. Our plan pays $40, $20 and $10 per lot on the first three levels, then $5 down to $1 through Level 10.

How introducing broker commission is calculated

Commission = lots traded by your clients × your rate per lot. One standard lot is 100,000 units of currency. A managed fund trades lots for every client in it, so your commission comes in without the client doing anything.
